Conor McGregor will be able to add Hollywood superstar to his burgeoning post-fight career later this year.
The Notorious - who hasn't fought since fracturing his tibia and fibula at UFC 264 in July 2021 - dipped his newly-healed leg into acting during his injury layoff.
The MMA legend has joined the likes of Randy Couture, Georges St-Pierre and Ronda Rousey in swapping the Octagon for the film set.
McGregor will make his acting debut alongside Jake Gyllenhaal in Amazon Prime’s new reimagining of Road House.
As of yet, there has been no official release date listed for the film beyond the fact that it will drop in 2023 - around the same time McGregor will return to the cage to take on Michael Chandler.
It is currently not known who McGregor will play, but it will be an original character and not the charismatic Irishman appearing as himself.
His spokesperson Karen J Kessler insists that fighting remains the priority for her client after his involvement was confirmed.
“Conor McGregor is very excited to expand his storied career to Hollywood and join with Jake Gyllenhaal in this reimagining of 'Road House', a beloved classic,” Kessler told MMA reporter Ariel Helwani.
“While fighting remains his top focus, this is the beginning of another successful venture in the McGregor empire. He is eager to get started filming.”
2023's Road House, a remake of the 1980s classic of the same name, began filming in the Dominican Republic last August.

Gyllenhaal will star as a former UFC fighter who takes a job as a bouncer at a road house in the Florida Keys but soon discovers everything is not what it seems.
The American actor made a surprise appearance at UFC 285 this month to film fight scenes for the film.
On Friday, the weigh-in for Jon Jones' win over Ciryl Gane was interrupted so Gyllenhaal could step on the scale and shoot.
Then later during the intermission of the actual fights, Gyllenhaal entertained the T-Mobile Arena crowd in Las Vegas with a choregraphed fight alongside former UFC fighter Jay Hieron who plays his opponent, Jack Harris in the film.
